Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database management systems, data analysis, and database programming and a proven ability to coordinate database changes, implement and test database solutions, and safeguard data through effective security measures.

Responsibilities:

• Test programs and databases, correct errors, and implement necessary modifications.


• Modify existing databases and DBMSs or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.


• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify database identifiers for the management system or direct others in coding.


• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development and define project scope and limitations.


• Review project requests, assess database user needs, and estimate time and cost to deliver.


• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard databases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with database management software and SQL.


• Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently, manage time, and provide basic mentoring with constructive feedback.


• Experience implementing database changes, testing, and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data modeling and performance tuning.


• Familiarity with Agile project environments.

Education/Experience:

• Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
