Job Description

Endpoint Deployment Technician

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an Endpoint Deployment Technician for a large enterprise in the natural resources sector to support device refresh and workstation deployment programs.

       Coordinate refresh schedules and communications with end users, business teams, and site contacts

       Validate device inventory, eligibility lists, asset assignments, and replacement readiness

       Receive, check in, stage, image, and prepare laptops and workstations for deployment

       Install driver updates, standard applications, and configuration updates on Windows 11 devices

       Execute scheduled device replacements and new hire deployment requests

       Assist users with device transitions, including data migration coordination and post-deployment checks

       Collect, document, and process returned assets; maintain ServiceNow records for deployments and check-ins

       Escalate issues to Service Desk, Desktop Engineering, or Endpoint Operations as needed

 

Essential Qualifications

       1–3 years of enterprise workstation, laptop, or endpoint deployment experience

       Experience with large-scale device refresh, new hire deployments, or workstation lifecycle programs

       Proficiency with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platform for documentation and task management

       Experience with Windows 11 enterprise devices; driver updates, setup, and application installation

       Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent deployments and active user communications

       Familiarity with Microsoft 365, endpoint deployment processes, and enterprise device standards

       High school diploma required; associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent IT experience preferred

 

Bonus Qualifications

       Experience with Active Directory, endpoint naming, user/device validation, or account lookup activities
