.NET/AWS backend developer

Role: .NET/AWS backend developer

Duration: 11+ months

Location: Chicago, IL or Houston, TX for 2 to 3 times a week – Candidate must be local to Chicago or Houston.

Experience: 8+ years

Essential Skills (Must have)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services, including EKS, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Implement and maintain database solutions, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git-based development, debugging, and production support.
• Leverage AI-assisted code generation tools, including Claude Code and Microsoft GitHub Copilot, to generate, review, refactor, optimize, and test high-quality production code.
• Apply LLM-based development practices for code analysis, unit-test generation, documentation, troubleshooting, and automation to improve development productivity and code quality.
