Senior FIX Connectivity Specialist

A leading financial services firm is looking for a senior FIX Connectivity specialist to manage client onboarding, support and ongoing development of its electronic trading connectivity.

Experience Required

* Strong background as a FIX protocol subject matter expert within trading or investment banking

* Experience managing the full client onboarding life cycle, from initial contact through to live setup

* Experience providing production support on electronic trading platforms

* Strong problem solving skills, able to handle bespoke client requirements

* Comfortable managing multiple onboardings and issues at once

* Able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team

* Strong stakeholder management across internal teams, clients and vendors

Key Technical Skills

* FIX Protocol, including certification, onboarding and message handling

* Experience with FIX engine platforms

* Python or Perl Scripting for automation

* Unix/Linux environments

* Knowledge of equity trading workflows

* Agile and software development life cycle exposure
