SRE - Banking and Risk

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to drive automation, process optimisation and the adoption of Agentic AI across a business-critical Market Risk platform.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on reducing operational toil, improving reliability and building scalable automation using Python. You'll work across hybrid infrastructure, redesign operational processes and develop AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

What you'll be doing:

• Build automation using Python to eliminate manual processes.
• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Optimise support and change processes through automation and process improvement.
• Develop self-service tools and automated recovery workflows.
• Improve platform reliability across hybrid infrastructure.

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Excellent Python development skills.
• Experience delivering automation and AI-driven operational solutions.
• Linux troubleshooting and systems administration experience.
• Exposure to Cloud, Virtual Machines and Kubernetes.
• Financial Services or Market Risk experience is advantageous but not essential.
