RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce's client in Chicago, IL is seeking an Audience Insights & Measurement Analyst to support audience research, media measurement, and strategic analytics initiatives across television and streaming platforms. This role will provide actionable audience insights for sales and business stakeholders while helping establish and measure key performance indicators tied to audience growth, engagement, retention, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver audience analyses, competitive intelligence, and custom insights to support business and sales initiatives
- Build repeatable reporting frameworks, templates, and data deliverables that improve efficiency and consistency
- Translate complex audience data into clear, business-focused insights and recommendations
- Develop audience measurement methodologies and establish baseline performance metrics
- Analyze audience trends across ratings, share, reach, average minute audience, time spent viewing, viewer acquisition, retention, migration, and cross-platform duplication
- Support the development of executive-facing dashboards, trackers, and performance reporting
- Evaluate audience opportunities and contribute to strategic planning and prioritization efforts
- Assist with integrating syndicated audience data and first-party customer data to enhance measurement capabilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design measurement frameworks and assess program effectiveness
- Support agency and stakeholder requests with timely, accurate analysis and reporting

- Delivers timely and reliable audience insights that support business and sales decisions
- Establishes clear measurement baselines and performance reporting frameworks
- Provides data-backed recommendations that help stakeholders understand audience behavior and engagement trends
- Contributes to executive reporting and strategic decision making through accurate and actionable analytics
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in media research, audience measurement, media analytics, consumer insights, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Nielsen NPower (required)
- Experience with VideoAmp (preferred); Experience with both platforms is highly desirable
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to create repeatable reporting processes, dashboards, and presentations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working under tight deadlines while maintaining data accuracy and quality
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
- Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong understanding of television and streaming audience metrics, including
- Ratings
- Share
- Reach
- Average Minute Audience (AMA)
- Time Spent Viewing (TSV)
- Audience duplication and cross-platform measurement
Preferred
- Experience with Comscore, MRI-Simmons, GWI, or similar syndicated research platforms.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and/or Power BI
- Experience with audience segmentation, multicultural audience research, and consumer insights
- Background supporting television, streaming, media, entertainment, advertising, or agency environments
- Experience integrating multiple data sources to support measurement and reporting initiatives
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
