Position Summary KARM Stores is seeking an Assistant Processing Manager for our Seymour location. This role helps lead the processing department by supporting daily operations, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and helping develop a strong, mission-minded team. The Assistant Processing Manager works closely with the Processing Manager to ensure donations are efficiently accepted, sorted, processed, and priced in a fast-paced retail environment.

What Youll Do Support the daily operations of the processing departmentPerform and oversee duties related to accepting donations, presorting, processing, and pricing merchandiseHelp ensure quick, accurate, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environmentEncourage and motivate team members to meet daily and weekly production goalsWork alongside the Processing Manager to address department needs and solve operational issuesAssist with delegating tasks and responsibilities to team membersHelp lead the department when the Processing Manager is not on shiftModel and reinforce KARM Stores mission, values, and culture with the teamSupport a work environment that reflects our core values of being trustworthy, team-minded, and teachablePerform other duties as assigned to support store and department success What Were Looking For Leadership experience in retail, production, warehouse, thrift, or a related environment preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced setting with a strong sense of urgencyStrong communication and team leadership skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and support others in doing the sameBasic computer and web navigation skillsClear and legible handwritingCommitment to KARM Stores mission and valuesAbility to stay organized, manage priorities, and support team productivity Physical Requirements Stand for up to 100% of the workdayLift, bend, and move continuously throughout the shiftPerform moderate to heavy physical activity on a regular basisLift up to 50 pounds as neededWork in an active processing environment with frequent movement and strenuous activity Additional Information KARM Stores is a Christ-centered organization committed to serving the community with dignity, integrity, compassion, and excellence.
