Traveling Cardiology NP / PA

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is expanding its renowned cardiovascular network by adding a specialized Womens Heart Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to lead dedicated, gender-specific cardiac care initiatives across our regional outreach clinics.

• Join an established team of 17 physicians and 10 APPs
• Call structure: Not required
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Access to: Support staff
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Manage specialized outpatient clinics dedicated to female-specific cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy.
• Partner closely with general cardiologists, and OB/GYNs to build seamless referral pathways.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing require
