Radiology Tech

• Deliver essential diagnostic services by safely and accurately preparing patients, administering contrast media, and providing necessary medications in strict adherence to regulatory standards.
• Optimize image quality by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters, ensuring physicians receive the clearest data for accurate diagnostic reporting.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort by rigorously monitoring vital signs during procedures and strictly adhering to all radiation protection protocols.
• Maintain the integrity of the patient record by promptly submitting high-quality images and complete clinical data, ensuring seamless and timely communication for the entire care team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty.
• State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
