Job description

Transactional Services Partner
Location: London
The opportunity
A high-growth, private equity-backed top 10 accounting firm is looking for a Transaction Services Partner to lead and expand its financial due diligence and deals advisory offering in London. The firm works with PE-backed and owner-managed businesses across sectors, from SMEs to international groups, and has ambitious plans to increase its share of the mid-market deals landscape.
This is a leadership role for someone who wants to build, not just run. You will have the investment, the platform and the autonomy to set the direction of the practice.
The role
  • Own the strategy, growth and P&L of the Transaction Services practice
  • Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, vendor assistance and related deal advisory work
  • Advise on quality of earnings, net debt and debt-like items, working capital, and completion mechanisms
  • Originate new work through PE houses, corporate acquirers, lenders, law firms and the owner-managed community
  • Act as a trusted adviser to deal teams, giving clear, commercial advice under tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with Tax, Corporate Finance, Restructuring and Audit colleagues to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Build, mentor and retain a high-performing team, with a strong focus on quality and development
About you
  • Partner or Director experience in Transaction Services or Financial Due Diligence, within a top 10 firm, Big Four or a leading mid-tier practice
  • A track record of leading a broad range of mid-market transactions and winning repeat work from private equity clients
  • An established network across UK private equity, advisers and lenders, with proven business development success
  • Strong technical credentials and sound commercial judgement, with the ability to communicate clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Leadership qualities that inspire a team and contribute to the wider firm's strategy
  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
Why join
  • Genuine influence at Partner level in a fast-growing, investor-backed firm
  • A diverse client mix, covering sponsor-backed deals through to owner-managed businesses and international groups
  • The scope to shape the practice, its team and its market positioning
  • An entrepreneurial culture where decisions are made quickly
