Technical Solutions Engineer – Healthcare IT (SQL / Python / HL7 / FHIR)

Overview
NDA Partners is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of healthcare IT solutions for clients. This is a client-facing technical role that blends hands-on data analysis (SQL, Python, Unix) with healthcare domain knowledge (HL7, FHIR, HIPAA) and strong communication. You’ll be the primary technical point of contact for client implementations — gathering requirements, configuring and deploying solutions, training end users, and resolving escalations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, with a focus on healthcare data analytics
• Analyze healthcare data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform solution design and performance improvements
• Lead and support implementation of healthcare IT solutions, ensuring successful deployment and integration with client systems
• Assess client needs, define requirements, and customize solutions to align with their operational workflows
• Deliver knowledge-transfer and training sessions to end users to drive adoption
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting; resolve client issues promptly
• Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and feedback; coordinate with internal teams to drive resolution and continuous improvement
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 3–5 years implementing and supporting healthcare IT solutions
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Unix/Linux for data analysis and system support
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations — HL7, FHIR, HIPAA
• Solid understanding of healthcare industry workflows, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable engaging directly with clients and cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
