This role will support customers implementing and optimizing Oracle Cloud solutions, with an emphasis on connecting project scheduling and controls with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Project Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Financials.

The successful candidate will combine Primavera functional expertise with an understanding of how project schedules, costs, resources, procurement activities, and financial data work together across an enterprise.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support Oracle Primavera P6 implementations, configurations, upgrades, and process optimization.
  • Configure project structures, work breakdown structures (WBS), activities, relationships, calendars, resources, and project baselines.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, critical path analysis, resource loading, and schedule forecasting.

  • Collaborate with Oracle Cloud functional and technical teams to define data flows, integration architecture, and system responsibilities.
  • Support integration testing, data validation, issue resolution, and end-to-end business process testing.
  • Evaluate where standard Oracle capabilities meet requirements and where integrations or extensions may be necessary.

Project Controls and Business Process Alignment

  • Work with project managers, schedulers, project controls teams, finance, procurement, and operations to understand project execution requirements.
  • Align project schedules with financial planning, project costing, procurement commitments, material availability, and resource requirements.
  • Support project forecasting, budget management, change control, cost and schedule variance analysis, and project reporting.
  • Help customers establish consistent project management processes across business units and project portfolios.

  • Understanding of project cost management, budgets, commitments, actual costs, and forecasting.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing consulting skills.

This is an opportunity to work in an Oracle Cloud-focused consulting environment, where Primavera is considered part of the broader enterprise solution rather than a standalone scheduling application.

The ideal candidate understands both the Primavera solution and the business processes that surround it, and can help customers determine where standard Oracle functionality, integration, and targeted extensions provide the best overall solution.

Success in This Role

Success will be measured by the ability to:

  • Deliver reliable Primavera solutions aligned with customer project management processes.
  • Define practical integration approaches between Primavera and Oracle Cloud.
  • Improve visibility into project schedules, costs, commitments, and forecasts.
  • Reduce manual handoffs between scheduling, procurement, project controls, and finance.
