Backend Architect
Location - Denver, CO
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Backend Technical Architect with strong experience in system design, technical leadership, and delivery of scalable distributed systems. This role involves owning end-to-end architecture, driving technical decisions, and ensuring system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  1. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience (3+ in architecture) with deep expertise in Node.js/TypeScript, AWS, Kafka, and microservices architecture.
  2. Strong experience in performance optimization, DynamoDB, event-driven systems, and resilience patterns is required.
  3. You will lead architecture design, mentor teams, define best practices, provide effort estimates, and resolve complex production issues.
  4. Familiarity with observability tools, CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code is preferred
