A Workers' Compensation Associate assists in managing and processing workers' compensation claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while communicating with employees, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals to track claim status and resolve issues.

Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Schedule: Hybrid—onsite expectations vary based on experience; compensation directly tied to billed hours

Description:

The associate attorney will handle workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, attending hearings, and negotiating settlements. Strong writing skills are critical, as persuasive legal arguments will be a key part of the role. The hybrid structure allows for increasing flexibility as experience grows. Compensation is entirely billable-hour driven, allowing attorneys to control their own earnings without discretionary bonuses.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law (claimant or defense side).
  • Strong legal research and persuasive writing abilities.
  • Experience managing cases independently and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, motions, and briefs.
  • Effective oral advocacy skills for hearings and negotiations.
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
