Job Description

Our client, a seed and agricultural processing operation, is seeking a Dock Auditor to join their team. As a Dock Auditor, you will be part of the operations team supporting daily shipping and receiving accuracy. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to follow quality instructions consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dock Auditor

Location: Rushville, IN

Pay Range: $19.50

Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday (weekends may be required, and start times may fluctuate based on workload)

What's the Job?

  • Inspect pallets to ensure they are free of debris and show no evidence of mice.
  • Verify pallet stacking and wrapping quality: stacked straight, wrapped tight with tail tucked.
  • Confirm documentation and labeling accuracy: SU on each end of pallet matches the BOL, and bag count matches the amount on the license plate.
  • Check for product and packaging issues: no broken bags and no free-floating kernels of seed.
  • Ensure wooden pallets are PHI pallets in good repair (not missing stringers) and verify pallet count matches the BOL.

  • Ability to speak and read English to understand and follow written quality directions.
  • Safety consciousness and willingness to follow PPE and site safety procedures.
  • Strong critical thinking and on-the-go problem solving to address quality issues quickly.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required, with start times that may fluctuate based on workload.
  • Ability to distinguish seed varieties by size or color and maintain consistent inspection standards.
