Senior AI Engineer

Location: Lafayette, LA (On-site)

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vectorization, Vector Databases, Knowledge Graphs, and AI-powered application development.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML experience.
Strong hands-on experience developing Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
Proven experience implementing end-to-end RAG pipelines.
Strong experience with vectorization, text embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases.
Hands-on experience developing Knowledge Graphs and Graph RAG solutions.
Advanced Python programming skills.
Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, or equivalent LLM orchestration frameworks.
Experience with Neo4j or another graph database.
Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise data sources.
Experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments.
Strong understanding of NLP, transformers, embedding models, and information retrieval techniques.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
