Job Description

Job Description ECS is seeking a TS-cleared Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice in Quantico, VA .

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $124,000 We offer the chance to support the world's finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support OCIO FISMA audit readiness and compliance reviews by identifying gaps, organizing evidence, and driving corrective-action closure. Lead security authorization support for complex FBI systems and portfolios, with accountability for authorization readiness, remediation, quality, and continuity.

Leads ISSO execution for assigned FBI systems and portfolios, coordinating with system owners, ISSEs, CRMU, and other stakeholders. Drives authorization readiness, POA&M and continuous-monitoring actions, resolves documentation and control gaps, and provides senior technical and process leadership. May serve as a task lead and mentor other ISSOs.

Required Skills

  • US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
  • 9 Years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency aligned to Security Architect (722) of DOD 8140 requirements:
  • Master's Degree in one of the following disciplines (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering)
  • OR One of the following Certifications (CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, GSLC)
  • At least 7 years as an ISSO or ISSE at a cleared facility; and at least 9 years in a computer science/cybersecurity-related field.
  • Must meet applicable FBI security, clearance, training, background, facility-access, and polygraph requirements
