About the company
Our client is an AI education company building tools to help teachers deliver personalized learning at scale. Its K-12 platform brings together curriculum, lesson planning, grading, feedback, tutoring, translation, analytics, and student support. The company is expanding a recently launched product line and is focused on meaningful improvements to educational outcomes.
The role / why it matters
As Senior Product Manager, you will own a product domain from strategy and discovery through launch and iteration. You will work across engineering, design, go-to-market, and customer partnerships to ship useful products at a fast cadence and improve learning experiences for students.
What you'll do
- Lead a zero-to-one product area from discovery through launch and continuous iteration.
- Define product strategy and roadmap for a complex, multi-surface platform.
- Work closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality product experiences.
- Bring customer and strategic partner feedback into product decisions and roadmap priorities.
- Guide AI and machine learning product features from concept through delivery.
- Communicate product tradeoffs across technical and nontechnical teams.
What we're looking for
- Five or more years of product management experience, with a record of taking products from discovery to launch.
- Experience building or shipping AI or machine learning product features, such as LLM-based tools, copilots, or agentic products.
- Direct customer-facing experience, including work with large or strategic partners that influenced the roadmap.
- Experience with complex, multi-surface products and cross-functional teams.
- Technical fluency to discuss architecture, AI or machine learning, and engineering tradeoffs credibly.
- A mission-driven, low-ego approach and a strong sense of ownership in fast-paced environments.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Bonus points
- A computer science background or technical degree.
- Experience managing large enterprise customer relationships.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range is $180,000 to $210,000, with competitive equity. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) matching, daily lunch credits, and a gym membership.
Location / work model
This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and Wednesdays working from home. Candidates must be based in New York City or willing to relocate.
