Trash Helper / Waste Collection Laborer

Position: Trash Helper
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Start Time: 5:00 AM
Location: Tulsa Oklahoma

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Trash Helpers to join our clients waste collection team. This position involves physically demanding outdoor work, riding on collection trucks, and assisting drivers with the collection of residential and commercial waste. Candidates must be able to perform repetitive heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Collect and load trash, recycling, and yard waste into collection vehicles.

• Lift, carry, push, and pull containers throughout the workday.
• Ride on the rear of collection trucks between stops when required.
• Assist drivers with safe and efficient route completion.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional attitude while interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards.

Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy containers.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
• Ability to start work at 5:00 AM.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and climb throughout the shift.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous labor, construction, landscaping, warehouse, moving, or waste collection experience is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
