Job Title: Translation Project Coordinator / Localization Project Manager

Location: South San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Translation Project Coordinator to manage day-to-day translation and localization projects. This role will work closely with the Localization Manager, translation vendors, internal content owners, and linguistic reviewers to ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely delivery of marketing and creative content.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing translation projects, coordinating multilingual content workflows, maintaining linguistic assets, and tracking project performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process translation requests from internal content owners.
• Prepare source files and reference materials for translation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate communication between translation vendors, linguists, internal reviewers, and content owners.
• Manage project schedules, deadlines, resources, and deliverables across multiple translation projects.
• Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and escalate delays or resource conflicts.
• Coordinate linguistic reviews, collect feedback, and communicate revisions to translation vendors.
• Submit translated content for regulatory review and approval, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal reviewers to maintain glossaries, translation memories, terminology databases, and style guides.
• Maintain project documentation, translation records, and linguistic decisions.
• Track and report key performance indicators, including turnaround time, translation quality, and vendor performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve translation workflows, efficiency, and quality.
• Support localization of print, digital, multimedia, and web content.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional translation project management experience.
