- Develop thought leadership material on cloud and emerging technologies, contributing to industry discourse and organisational knowledge sharing.
- Manage tight deadlines with precision, exhibiting exceptional attention to detail and ensuring the successful completion of projects and initiatives.
- Orchestrate cross functional teams (e.g., services, network, infrastructure, physical security, and operations) to align technical dependencies, manage competing priorities, and ensure synchronized progress toward program milestones.
- Engage in technical architecture discussions about security controls, understand complex system dependencies across logical and physical domains, and make informed trade off decisions that balance security rigor with delivery timelines.
- Maintain a top down strategic view of timelines, risks, and resource constraints across the program while possessing technical credibility to challenge engineering approaches and identify early architectural risks.
- Identify and manage risk through the security lens to mitigate risks that may impact assurance outcomes and program delivery.
- Hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance.
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 5+ years of technical program management experience working with software engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Understanding of classified government environments, including personnel security requirements, information handling protocols, and continuous authorisation maintenance.
- Technical understanding of security controls across multiple domains (network security, access control, cryptography, monitoring, incident response) sufficient to evaluate architectural approaches and identify implementation risks.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience defining KPI/SLAs used to drive multi million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security programmes in Australia aligned with the ISM and PSPF.
- Proven track record achieving certification, accreditation, and assurance of software systems to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) for highly classified systems operating at the highest classification level.
