A professional services organization in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a new Lead AI Engineer to design and build conversational AI solutions that enhance agent performance and customer interactions.


About the Opportunity:




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Hybrid (At least 4 days a week onsite in Charlotte, NC or Denver, CO)




Responsibilities:




  • Design and build conversational journeys and sub-agents on the GECX/CXAS platform




  • Perform intent engineering and prompt engineering to shape and fine-tune agent behavior




  • Develop and configure agent tools and integrations




  • Lead coordination across local and global teams to support delivery




  • Build, unit test, and validate agents to ensure reliable performance




Qualifications:




  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or related technical roles




  • Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript and Python




  • Experience with a major cloud platform such as Google Cloud or AWS




  • Experience with APIs, web services, and integrations




  • Experience with CI/CD processes




  • Experience with LLM applications, prompting, chatbots, or agent design




  • Experience with an AI-assisted or agentic IDE




  • Experience with conversational AI or contact center concepts




Desired Skills:




  • Experience with Google Antigravity or Kiro
