Job Description

New End User Support / Systems Administrator Scott AFB, IL Apply **CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD** Overview: Job Title: End User Support / Systems Administrator Security Clearance: Secret (or higher) Location: Scott AFB, IL (Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.) Description: C3EL is seeking an End User Support / Systems Administrator to support our mission at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. The professional will provide on-site end-user equipment and connectivity support, including workstation setup and relocation, printer support, hardware/peripheral troubleshooting, desk-to-switch connectivity troubleshooting, ticket documentation, testing, and escalation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide IT equipment support for new-user workstations and relocation moves within Building 3600.
  • Disconnect, move, reconnect, and test workstation equipment and peripherals for connectivity and functionality.
  • Provide end-user network connectivity troubleshooting from the desk to the switch and escalate unresolved issues as required.
  • Conduct monthly connectivity and functionality testing of community printers and report issues to the Global Service Desk.
  • Track printer and end-user equipment issues in the designated trouble-ticket system and follow repair status through closure.
  • Document work initiation, progress, completion, corrective actions, and status updates in support records/tickets.
  • Coordinate with DOD application administrators and DISA Tier II/III teams when issues cross technical support boundaries.
  • Assist with timely user support, move requests, and configuration changes while maintaining required response standards.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Experience supporting Windows workstations, peripherals, printers, and end users in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience performing workstation moves/adds/changes and basic network-connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience with trouble-ticket systems and escalation processes.
  • Ability to meet applicable DISA personnel security and network-access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DoD or federal desktop/end-user support experience.
  • Experience supporting users in a high-tempo mission or contracting environment.
  • Basic familiarity with switches, structured cabling, and enterprise network troubleshooting.
  • IT service-management or DoD-approved cybersecurity certification relevant to assigned duties. Education / Experience:
  • High school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
