Cross Domain Systems Engineer, Senior | Annandale, VA, United States | Hybrid | $86,800.00 - $198,000.00 This employer is seeking a Senior Cross Domain Systems Engineer to develop and deploy digital cross-domain solutions that support national security missions. The role involves customer engagement, requirements definition, system design and development, and ensuring system accreditation. The Role • Lead the design, development, and deployment of digital cross-domain solutions. • Capture, define, and understand user and security requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. • Decompose hardware, software, interface, and security control requirements. • Coordinate system integration, testing, and deployment activities. • Support system accreditation using the Risk Management Framework. • Plan and implement security improvements for cross-domain systems. What You'll Need • Experience developing requirements, including capability and system-level requirements. • Experience creating technical written deliverables for system delivery or deployment. • Familiarity with online collaboration and work tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow). • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system accreditation. • Ability to plan systems delivery and deployment efforts. • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 5+ years of engineering experience, or 12+ years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
