Sr Mgr Public Relations Transportation and Infra

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Manager Public Relations Transportation and Infra in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for large-scale projects and initiatives
• Manage public outreach efforts, stakeholder communications, and community engagement activities
• Serve as a primary point of contact between project teams, public agencies, community organizations, and key stakeholders
• Plan and facilitate public meetings, stakeholder forums, briefings, and outreach events
• Create and deliver clear, accurate project communications, presentations, updates, and informational materials
• Monitor stakeholder feedback and community concerns, providing recommendations to address issues and support project objectives
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication throughout project lifecycles
• Support issue management, crisis communications, and risk mitigation efforts related to project impacts and stakeholder concerns
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring successful delivery of communication objectives
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in stakeholder engagement and communications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in public outreach, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, public affairs, or a related field
• Experience supporting infrastructure, transportation, utility, public sector, or large-scale capital projects
• Proven ability to develop and execute stakeholder engagement and community outreach programs
• Experience managing client relationships, project budgets, and multiple concurrent initiatives
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences
• Experience facilitating public meetings, stakeholder forums, and community engagement activities
• Strong project management, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify stakeholder concerns, resolve issues, and provide strategic communications recommendations
• Experience mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional project teams
• Willingness to travel as needed and provide support outside standard business hours when required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
