Office Administrator (NT-Top End) Palmerston
- As an Office Administrator's to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of an office environment.
- Must be able to handle a variety of administrative tasks, including managing communication, coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and providing support to staff and management
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly by managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Managing phone calls, emails, and mail correspondence
- Scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and arranging travel.
- Organizing and maintaining files, records, and databases.
- Managing office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Assisting employees with administrative tasks, such as preparing documents, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Providing administrative support to senior management, including managing calendars and preparing presentations.
- Handling petty cash, processing invoices, and assisting with budgeting.
- Implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicating with staff, clients, and vendors.
- Greeting visitors, answering phones, and providing a positive first impression of the organization.
- Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Identifying and resolving administrative issues.
- A high school diploma is typically required, and a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is often preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and other office management software.
- Prior experience in an administrative or office support role is often required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Able to speak and write English fluently
- Able to type 45 to 75 words per minutes
- Office Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of an office, supporting both staff and management in their daily tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.
