Job Description

Groovy Lead (including Jenkins Shared Libraries and pipeline DSL)

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of Groovy-based automation frameworks and Jenkins Shared Libraries.

Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins declarative/scripted pipelines) to support rapid, reliable software delivery.

Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to a team of DevOps/automation engineers.

Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.

Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and reusable patterns for pipeline-as-code.

Integrate automation with tools such as Git/GitHub/Bitbucket, Artifactory/Nexus, SonarQube, and container platforms.

Drive infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation initiatives (AWS preferred).

, Troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and release issues across environments.

* Partner with stakeholders to define the DevOps roadmap and continuously improve delivery metrics (DORA, lead time, deployment frequency).

* Champion security and compliance within pipelines (DevSecOps), aligned with financial-services regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 12+ years of software/DevOps engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical lead capacity.
* Expert-level proficiency in Groovy (including Jenkins Shared Libraries and pipeline DSL).
* Strong experience with Jenkins (declarative and scripted pipelines) and CI/D automation.
* Solid programming background in Java and/or scripting (Shell, Python).
* Hands-on experience with source control (Git), artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus), and static analysis tools (SonarQube).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
Strong understanding of DeSecOps principles and secure SLC practices.
