ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a dependable and safety-focused Dock Worker to support the daily operation of our loading dock. This role is responsible for receiving and loading shipments, safely moving materials, maintaining an organized work area, and helping ensure smooth and efficient dock operations.

The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who works well in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and follows safety procedures closely.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Receive, inspect, unload, and load shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Organize and maintain the loading dock to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and identifying shipment discrepancies.
• Perform basic equipment and safety checks and promptly report issues or hazards.
• Work closely with the Dock Supervisor and team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Participate in training and other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed

• Previous warehouse, loading dock, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or training preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50–100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, weather conditions, and high-noise environments.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
