Registered Nurse Float Pool

• Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
• Facility: Ascension Alexian Brothers
• Schedule: Night shift | Full-time

• Provide direct nursing care following established organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement, monitor, record, and communicate patient care plans and condition changes.
• Coordinate all disciplines as the primary point of contact for well-coordinated patient care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• Previous hospital nursing experience needed.
