Job Description

Role Summary

The AI Engineer/Developer is a senior technical professional responsible for designing, deploying, governing, and optimizing enterprise AI solutions within secure and regulated environments. This role focuses on Azure AI technologies, Microsoft ecosystem integrations, agentic AI solutions, and responsible AI practices. The position collaborates with technical and business stakeholders to develop scalable AI capabilities while supporting security, privacy, governance, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and operate AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, including model orchestration, evaluation pipelines, and responsible AI controls.
  • Design and manage agentic AI solutions, including multi-step workflows, tool-enabled agents, and autonomous orchestration patterns.
  • Develop and implement enterprise AI capabilities across Microsoft Azure data, security, identity, and AI services.
  • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise governance frameworks, cybersecurity requirements, privacy standards, and data classification policies.
  • Collaborate with AI architects and technical stakeholders to design, refine, and optimize AI solutions and establish standards for prompt engineering and use-case evaluation.
  • Measure and evaluate AI deployments to demonstrate business value, performance, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop detailed architecture diagrams documenting AI system designs, data flows, integrations, and system interactions.
  • Manage AI solution deployment lifecycles, including updates, versioning, change management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise and present AI capabilities, performance, and outcomes.
  • Optimize AI solutions through model refinement, prompt enhancement, performance tuning, and ongoing capability improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing enterprise AI environments within secure or regulated settings.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operationalizing AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, including agentic workflows and evaluation pipelines.
  • Experience translating business requirements and use cases into deployed AI capabilities.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Security Copilot, and integrations with Azure data, security, and identity services.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, compliance, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.
  • Proficiency with Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar technologies for developing AI agents, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
  • Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.

Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 - $80.00 USD Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
