What You’ll Do

As a GSOC Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind a 24/7 global security operation that protects people, assets, and reputation across the AMER/EMEA regions. You’ll lead a high-performing team, shape strategy, and own the day-to-day performance of a mission-critical Global Security Operations Center.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions matter in real time. You’ll work closely with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders, turning data, incidents, and trends into clear actions and continuous improvement.

Strategic Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily GSOC operations including alarm monitoring, access control, incident response, and communication workflows.
  • Ensure alignment with client expectations, service level agreements (SLAs), and service delivery standards.
  • Champion the GSOC mission by identifying opportunities to expand capabilities and enhance services.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and coordinate resolution of technical or operational issues.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global security partners to ensure consistent service delivery across regions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide leadership coverage as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for GSOC personnel across AMER/EMEA.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Own staffing, scheduling, and coverage to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operations.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and professional development to build a skilled, resilient team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions with clear development plans.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing and selecting top talent.

Incident Management & Client Relations

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and operational challenges.
  • Maintain a strong operational presence during high-impact or time-sensitive events.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and professional incident notifications and communications.
  • Oversee thorough documentation and reporting in line with compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with client stakeholders and local branch leadership.
  • Promote a customer-centric service model and high-quality interactions at every touchpoint.
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reports to leadership and clients, highlighting trends, risks, and performance.
  • Support investigations by coordinating resources, reviewing data, and ensuring timely follow-up and reporting.

Reporting & Data Integrity

  • Manage reporting functions (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly) including incident volume, alarm activity, and response performance.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of operational data, including headcount tracking and system inputs (e.g., IA/OFSS).
  • Maintain accountability for GSOC administrative functions, including documentation, inventory control, and facility organization.

Who You Are

You bring a service-first mindset, clear communication skills, strong attention to detail, and sound judgment when approaching challenges. You are solutions-focused and thrive in both independent and team settings. You are comfortable leading in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment where your decisions have real-time impact.

Education & Certifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred.

Technical or Job-Specific Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security operations platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with executive-level reporting.
  • Ability to manage conflict, lead through change, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams at all levels.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted operations in a fast-paced environment.

Experience That Sets You Apart

  • Experience in a Global Security Operations Center, corporate security, or similar 24/7 operations environment.
  • Military, law enforcement, or corporate security experience preferred.
  • Experience leading teams in high-tempo, incident-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with alarm monitoring, access control, and incident management systems.

Why You Would Want to Join the Team

  • Opportunity to make an impact on a mission-critical global security operation that protects people, assets, and reputation every day.
  • Direct exposure to executive leadership, client stakeholders, and global security partners.
  • Career growth and development opportunities within a large, global security organization.
  • Collaborative team culture and leadership support focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Chance to shape how a global GSOC operates and to lead a team that delivers real-world impact.
  • A role at the center of our security operations, not a back-office position—your work is visible and meaningful.
