Job Description

Leidos is seeking a Contractor Logistics Support/Field Service Representative to support advanced IT and mission systems for government and commercial customers. In this role, you will provide on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, manage parts and logistics, and ensure high system availability in demanding environments. You will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, document all service activities, and train end users on system operation. Working closely with engineering and program teams, you'll help implement upgrades, improve reliability, and uphold strict security, safety, and quality standards while contributing to mission-critical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site contractor logistics support for Leidos IT and mission systems
  • Perform installation, configuration, and preventive/corrective maintenance of hardware and software
  • Manage spare parts, asset tracking, and lifecycle documentation
  • Troubleshoot complex system, network, and software issues to restore operations quickly
  • Train end users and local staff on system operation, best practices, and safety
  • Coordinate with engineering, program management, and vendors to resolve escalated issues
  • Maintain configuration control, technical records, and service reports
  • Support field upgrades, patches, and technology refresh activities
  • Ensure compliance with security, safety, and quality standards at customer sites
  • Provide feedback to improve system reliability, usability, and support procedures
