Job Description: Assistant Controller - Corporate Finance


The Assistant Controller - Corporate Finance will support the group consolidation, financial reporting, intercompany reconciliation, and parent company reporting processes. This role is designed for a qualified finance professional who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with high attention to detail, timely execution, and effective stakeholder coordination across global teams.


Key Responsibilities:-

  • Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting: Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation activities, including preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting IFRS disclosures.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, analysis, and presentation materials for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Parent Company Coordination: Act as the key finance contact for parent company reporting and ensure timely submission of reporting packages.
  • Intercompany & Transfer Pricing Support: Review, analyze, and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across group entities, including support for pricing schedules and transfer pricing data.
  • Reporting Accuracy & Controls: Ensure financial reporting data is complete, accurate, consistent, and aligned with agreed reporting timelines.
  • External Audit Support: Coordinate audit requests, provide required schedules, and support timely closure of audit queries related to consolidation, reporting, and intercompany matters.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and standardization across finance processes.


Required Qualifications & Skills:-

  • Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, audit, or controllership.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles, with practical IFRS exposure.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial data accurately.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to identify reporting gaps, inconsistencies, or unusual trends.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across different functions, entities, and regions.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.


Preferred Qualifications:-

  • Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and CFIN consolidation systems is an advantage.
  • Experience in a multinational company or group reporting environment is preferred.
