Job Summary
Ensuring internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.
What You'll Do...
- Operate large format digital printing presses while adhering to production schedules.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Review job specifications and make necessary adjustments to color profiles, resolutions, and layouts before printing.
- Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs.
- Monitor print quality throughout the printing process and make real-time adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before delivery.
- Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring...
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a digital press operator, preferably with large format printers.
- Strong technical knowledge of digital printing processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with color management techniques and print quality assurance.
- Ability to read and interpret print specifications and technical documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
