Job Overview - We are seeking a hands-on Firco Continuity Engineer to support a critical sanctions payment-screening platform. The engineer will own application administration, configuration, production troubleshooting, upgrades, recovery, and integration support.

This is an application engineering role. Candidates whose experience is primarily in sanctions operations, alert review, tuning, model validation, testing, business analysis, project management, or integration development without direct Continuity platform ownership should not be submitted.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, administer, configure, deploy, upgrade, and support Firco Continuity and related Firco components.
• Diagnose production issues involving application services, IBM MQ, Oracle, Linux, message processing, performance, and screening errors.
• Review logs, configuration files, service status, database activity, and message flows to identify root causes and restore processing.
• Support releases, rollback, failover, disaster recovery, and end-to-end transaction validation.
• Maintain runbooks, recovery procedures, deployment documentation, and root-cause analyses.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, middleware, database, payments, Compliance, and LexisNexis teams while retaining ownership of the Firco application layer.
• Support after-hours releases and high-severity production incidents when required.

Required Experience

• Deep hands-on administration and production support of Firco Continuity.
• Linux or Unix application and service administration.
• IBM MQ or comparable enterprise messaging technology.
• Oracle and SQL troubleshooting.
• Firco configuration, upgrades, releases, rollback, and recovery.
• Real-time or batch payment-screening flows.
• Independent incident diagnosis and root-cause analysis.
• SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, Wire, ACH, or comparable payment-message experience.

Firco Version Requirement

Deep hands-on Firco Continuity platform experience is required. Continuity V6 experience is preferred, but strong V5 engineers with production support, upgrade, IBM MQ, and payment-screening experience will be considered.
