Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with 13+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and enterprise applications. The candidate should have strong experience with cloud platforms, automation, security, networking, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions, services, and applications.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
• Implement cloud security, access controls, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, architects, and other technical teams.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Create technical documentation and maintain infrastructure standards.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, databases, and IAM.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC/VNet, DNS, Load Balancers, VPN, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and identity management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent are a plus.
