Responsibilities
• Operates and supports onsite video conferencing and integrated conference room AV systems each business day
• Supports scheduled and ad hoc video meetings, including pre-meeting system checks and in-room user assistance
• Diagnoses and resolves faults across codecs, cameras, microphones and DSPs, control processors and touch panels, displays, and signal routing
• Performs routine system checks and firmware updates, and reports recurring issues
• Documents incidents and resolutions, and escalates to G-Star engineering when needed
• Communicates clearly and professionally with users at every level of the organization

Requirements
• Hands-on experience supporting video conferencing and conference room AV systems in a business, enterprise, or government setting
• Demonstrated troubleshooting ability across audio, video, and control signal paths
• Clear verbal and written communication with non-technical users
• Ability to work onsite full-time and to complete the personnel screening the Government requires for facility and system access
• Prefer candidates with foundational (Level 1) manufacturer training or credentials, such as:

• HP | POLYHP | Poly video collaboration technical training
• CRESTRON Crestron Technical Institute (CTI) foundational coursework
• QSC Q-SYS Level One training
• AMX AMX training through HARMAN Professional
• EXTRON Extron AV Associate certification
• AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credential
• Experience with Cisco Webex or Microsoft Teams Rooms systems
• Prior onsite support at a federal facility, or a current or recent federal background investigation
