On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Project Manager- Finance Transformation based in Edinburgh, for a 6 Month Day Rate Contract - Hybrid Working Model.

Purpose of the role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Life Insurance and Financial Services to join a portfolio of finance change initiatives. Working as part of a wider team of Project Managers, you will be responsible for delivering projects that support and transform the finance function, ensuring business objectives are achieved on time and within budget.

What you'll do:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of finance-related change and transformation projects.
• Manage multiple workstreams within a broader portfolio of programmes and initiatives.
• Partner closely with Finance, Change, Technology, and Business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, governance, risk and issue logs, and status reporting.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels of the organisation.
• Track project dependencies, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with organisational governance and change frameworks.

The skills you'll need:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Life Insurance or a closely related Financial Services environment.
• Strong track record delivering projects for Finance functions, including finance transformation, process improvement, regulatory, systems, or operating model change.
• Experience managing complex change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work across a portfolio of projects and prioritise competing demands.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and governance skills.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
• Experience within large insurance or financial services organisations.
• Exposure to finance systems, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or regulatory change projects.
• Relevant project management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile certification)
