Job Description

Mechanical engineers design power-producing machines, such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines, as well as power-using machines, such as refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. Mechanical engineers design other machines inside buildings, such as elevators and escalator and Utilities Systems.

Mechanical Engineer: Piping & Utilities Systems

Opportunity for an experienced Piping & Utilities Engineer to prepare and manage design packages for industrial manufacturing clients. This key role requires expertise with industrial process piping systems, to include studies, calculations, stress analysis, equipment specs, and subcontractor bid reviews.

EXPERIENCE

BSME and active PE registration is required, as well as 15+ years of relevant design experience. Familiarity with jacketed piping, hot oil systems, and B31.3 code is desired. Experience with CAESAR II and AutoCAD is preferred. Candidates must have professional presentation and communication skills, and the ability to develop client relationships. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading teams in a multidiscipline design environment, as well as supporting construction and field operations as required.
