Job Description

Ingram Marine Group operates across America’s inland waterways, moving bulk commodities that keep the country running. Our teams transport materials by barge, deliver fuel and supplies to the towing industry, and manage a ship anchorage facility in Louisiana.

As an industry leader, we operate a fleet of approximately 140 towboats and 5,000 barges carrying aggregates, grain, fertilizer, coal, ores, alloys, steel products, chemicals, and more.

Ingram Marine Group is hiring a Crew Dispatcher in the Paducah, KY office. This position is responsible for crewing vessels as designated which includes but is not limited to arranging travel, arranging emergency travel, making sure the vessel has the right compliment of crew members for the segment of river they are working. Maintain / process payroll for the marine associates. This associate should have the knowledge to process travel vouchers. Provide guidance and support to entire department. Give support to the operations team. The role encompasses the below responsibilities. 

Complete various reports as required.    

Provide support to the entire department

Provide support to the Operations Team•

Back up Manager as necessary

Crew Vessels

Maintain Payroll

Process Travel Vouchers

Complete reports

Support department activities with regular and prompt attendance

Detailed Oriented
Good Communication Skills

Good Math Skills

Significant Knowledge of the River Industry

Degree Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience Required:

0-1 years of experience
