The Role

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient management of inventory, storage and distribution activities. You will develop and support a high-performing team while driving continuous improvement across quality, service, safety and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate warehouse teams to achieve operational and service objectives.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control, cycle counting and reconciliation activities.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with GMP, HSE and company procedures.
  • Maintain audit readiness through strong quality, compliance and documentation standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and performance.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, training and performance support.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders across operations and supply chain functions.

Skills

  • Warehouse operations and inventory management experience.
  • Knowledge of storage management, materials movement and logistics processes.
  • Strong planning, organisation and work scheduling capabilities.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement practical solutions.
  • Confidence leading teams and supporting colleagues' development.

Experience

  • Experience working in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating operational teams.
  • Experience working within regulated environments with a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.
