You’ll provide clinical oversight and collaborative supervision for a team of up to 12 Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and/or PAs) delivering telemedicine and wound care services. You’ll help ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant care across our virtual platform while supporting our providers’ clinical decision-making and professional growth.

  • Conduct regular chart reviews, both random and targeted, as required by state and payer rules
  • Be available for real-time consultation during scheduled shifts, including urgent questions, escalations, and complex cases
  • Provide consultation on wound assessment, treatment planning, and advanced wound care therapies

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure supervised care meets clinical quality standards, evidence-based guidelines, and company protocols
  • Stay compliant with state medical board supervision requirements, which vary by state, including supervision ratios, geographic restrictions, and documentation standards

Administrative

Required

  • At least 3 years of post-residency clinical practice experience
  • Prior experience supervising NPs and/or PAs in a clinical setting
  • Active DEA registration (if overseeing controlled substance prescribing)
  • Solid understanding of telemedicine regulations, state supervision ratios, and collaborative practice requirements
  • Comfort with EHR and telehealth platforms, and with asynchronous chart review workflows

Preferred

  • Prior telemedicine or virtual care experience
  • Experience supervising APPs in both telemedicine and wound care
  • Clinical experience in wound care or a related specialty (e.g., surgery, podiatry, internal medicine, or family medicine with wound care exposure)

Compensation & Structure
