Workday FINS/Payroll/PSA Consultant

Overview: We are seeking a highly versatile Workday FINS/Payroll/PSA Consultant to support a client in a contract capacity. This is an ideal opportunity for a Workday "Swiss Army knife" - someone with broad functional expertise who can work across Workday Financials, Payroll, and Professional Services Automation (PSA) and step into different areas of the project as needed.

The ideal consultant will be comfortable working across multiple Workday modules, troubleshooting functional issues, supporting configuration and business processes, and developing reports. Workday Time Tracking experience is a major plus, although it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional consulting support across Workday Financials (FINS), Payroll, and PSA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues across multiple Workday modules.
• Support Workday business processes, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
• Partner with business stakeholders and project team members to understand requirements and identify solutions.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Workday reports to support business and project needs.
• Assist with integrations, data validation, and cross-functional Workday processes as needed.
• Support testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify opportunities to improve Workday processes and overall system functionality.
• Serve as a flexible resource capable of jumping between functional areas based on project priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials, Payroll, and PSA.
• Strong understanding of Workday functional configuration and business processes.
• Experience with Workday Report Writing.
• Ability to work across multiple Workday functional areas and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Time Tracking experience is a major plus.
• Experience supporting multiple Workday modules within a single implementation or support environment.
• Experience with Workday testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Workday certification(s) in relevant functional areas.
