Functional Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, document functional specifications, and support the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver effective solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend effective solutions.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
• Assist with issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of business processes and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience with ERP platforms and business process analysis is preferred.
