Job Description

PAY RATE - $30 per hour and progresses to $32 per hour (W2 employment) 

  • Rate is based on years of RBT experience 

OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening!

SCHEDULE:

  • An RBT will work on all student days during the school calendar year, 8am - 3pm

LOCATION:

  • Child & Career Development Center (CCDC), Great Valley Campus: 40 Moores Road, Malvern, PA 19355
    • Hires for the Great Valley Child & Career Development Center will begin the school year at the Child and Career Development Center in Coatesville,  PA until the anticipated Great Valley Center opens at the end of September 2026. 
    • Van transportation from the CCDC Great Valley Campus to CCDC Coatesville Campus will be provided!

A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.

  • The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support
  • The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA

To be successful in this role, you must meet all of the following expectations:

  • School-based cases, must have availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar year
  • Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB
  • Maintain current certification in both CPR/First Aide and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints)

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • National certification as an RBT - active
  • Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification.
  • Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs - preferred

CREDENTIALING

(Clearances current within 12 months)

  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
  • TB Screening - current within 3 months
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcript

POST-OFFER REQUIREMENT: 

  • Candidates selected for this position will be required to complete job-related Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET) following a conditional offer of employment. The assessment evaluates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
