Job Description

For over 30 years, Angi has powered the future of the home services industry, creating an environment where homeowners and pros benefit from more jobs done well.

For homeowners, our platform is a reliable way to find skilled pros. For pros, we're a reliable business partner who helps them find the winnable work they want, when they want. For employees, we're an amazing place to call home. We can't wait to welcome you.

Angi at a glance:

  • Founded in 1995 as Angie’s List and rebranded in 2021

  • Global company with 9 brands in 8 countries and employees worldwide

  • Homeowners have turned to us for 300 million home projects and counting

Angi is seeking a Temporary Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Sales and Care Tooling team. In this role, you will design and implement functionality that supports our Sales and Care organizations, and help integrate our Salesforce instance with a new global, technical platform.

You will work closely with seven Salesforce specialists and a Product Manager to deliver against team objectives.

Our team works fluently with Visual Studio Code, Git, and SFDX CI/CD, and has recently adopted AI-assisted development to significantly increase output. We deploy to production an average of three times per day.

Our guiding philosophy is "Salesforce flows first." Most business features are built by administrators using Flow. Engineers partner with senior administrators to maintain a coherent package architecture and to design and develop custom components where Flow isn't a fit.

Technology Stack

On the Salesforce side, we follow an unlocked packages strategy across 20+ packages. Our code is built on open-source Apex design pattern frameworks (FFLIB and AT4DX), with high, meaningful Apex test coverage — though we default to Flow wherever possible.

While Salesforce is the primary tool for our Sales and Care teams, Angi's core platform runs on services built in Symfony 5.4 (PHP 8.1) and Kotlin, deployed on Kubernetes clusters.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the team to deliver high-priority initiatives integrating our Salesforce instance with Angi's new unified platform in the US market

  • Contribute to, uphold, and help evolve the team's development quality standards and Salesforce best practices

  • Ground your work in the data and context behind key decisions

  • Be an active voice in product and technical discussions

  • Apply your expertise and experience to support the other senior team members as they make and implement critical technical decisions over the coming months

Who you are

  • You possess deep knowledge of Salesforce application architecture and software design principles

  • You have 8+ years of commercial experience developing in LWC and Apex, including automated testing

  • You use Visual Studio Code (or similar IDE), Git and AI tooling in your development workflow, and are experienced with Salesforce code deployments using CI/CD tools

  • You are a collaborative communicator and have experience working in agile and lean environments on cross functional teams.

  • You have Platform Developer I & II certifications

Nice to have

  • Additional Salesforce core platform certifications (e.g., Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)

  • System Architect or Certified Technical Architect certification

  • Trailhead badges or superbadges (Apex Specialist, Lightning Web Components Specialist)

  • Familiarity with automated testing philosophy: TDD, Apex tests, Jest tests

Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges from £85,000 - 105,000 (annualized), commensurate with experience and qualifications

  • Hybrid work environment and home office set-up allowance

  • Temporary work from abroad policy

  • Regular team and social events
