About the Role

AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Banking to support security operations and protect financial systems and sensitive customer data. This role focuses on threat monitoring, security analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response across banking and financial environments. Ideal for early-career cybersecurity professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents

• Analyze security logs using SIEM tools

• Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation

• Support network, endpoint, and application security

• Help detect threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and unauthorized access

• Support protection of customer, financial, and transaction data

• Assist with Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities

• Maintain security documentation and incident reports

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or related role

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and network security fundamentals

• Knowledge of SIEM, security monitoring, and threat detection

• Exposure to EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux environments

• Understanding of incident response processes

• Exposure to AWS or cloud security

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills
