Linux Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
Document inventory changes.

Required

Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years). Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources. VM experience
Security + cert Desired:
Should have a working knowledge and be able to use and/or support some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools.

Dell and HPE Linux servers
Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
Palo Alto firewalls
Ansible
Nutanix – VM management
Rubrik – data storage
Nomad containers
SALT scripts ibreNMS
NetBox Education
Bachelor's Degree. Ten (10) years' experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
