Agile Developer 1 with Security Clearance

Position Summary Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 1 to support the modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This role contributes to microservices development, AWS-native services, REST services, and CI/CD in a collaborative Agile environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies. * Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3. * Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects. * Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps. * Support Agile software development and delivery. * Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Required Qualifications * Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. * 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with at least 2 of the following: * Java, Spring Boot, or Python. * JSON Schema. * Microservice architectures. * CI/CD tools including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible. * NoSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB query and schema design. * OAuth/OIDC implementation. * Test frameworks and automation including Cypress and Cucumber.
