Cloud Platform Engineer

HIRING: Cloud Platform Engineer (Manufacturing only)

Location: Oak Brook, IL or Sioux Falls, SD (Hybrid)

Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles
• Strong AWS cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and operations
• Node.js/TypeScript preferred or C# for production platform development
• Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS
• Strong networking: VPCs, DNS, load balancing, routing, and security
• Scalable distributed systems and high-volume data platforms
• Event-driven architecture, messaging, and streaming: Kafka, Kinesis, etc.
• CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and platform tooling
• Observability and troubleshooting; Datadog preferred
• Architecture, operational, and technical documentation

Preferred:
• IoT, telemetry, connected devices, or autonomous vehicle platforms
• Large-scale cloud environments with long-lived, backward-compatible systems
• APIs and developer platforms for internal engineering teams
